Naseby is 139km's inland from Mosgiel and 92km's from Alexandra.
Naseby traces its historic roots back to the discovery of gold in the 1860s. Naseby is a great place to visit in either winter or summer. It is world famous for its curling, ice skating and the Southern Hemisphere's first luge track which was opened in June 2008.
The forest has walking tracks, mountain bike tracks and fishing at the two dams. There is also the opportunity to pan for gold.
