We bring everyone together, with you around one table so everyone is clear about what support your family/whanau needs to thrive. We are a free and voluntary service. We provide information and support for people that have experienced stroke, their family/whanau and caregivers. Community Stroke Advisor support includes providing information on a range of issues, finance, rehabilitation services, equipment, and care.

Studio2 is a small art studio for people with disabilities. We provide a supportive space where people can explore their creativity through a variety of processes and mediums. Studio 2 also operates its own gallery at the front of our space which is named after local artist, the late Margaret Freeman.

Our team are passionate about breaking down the barriers to communication and participation. We do this by providing Assistive Technology tools and strategies.
The TalkLink team are specialists in the area of Communication Assistive Technology / Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). AAC tools and strategies are used to supplement or replace speech or writing for those with impairments in the production or comprehension of spoken or written language.
The TalkLink team consists of speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, teachers and technicians. We partner with disabled people, their families and whānau, as well as their support teams to provide services throughout New Zealand, and usually travel to meet our clients in a location chosen by them.

The Tapestry clubhouse is a local community centre that offers for people who have mental illness. It is there to give hope and opportunities to help achieve their full potential. Most importantly the clubhouse is a community of people who are working together to achieve a common goal. During the course of their participation members gain access to opportunities to friendships, family, employment and education. Tapestry Clubhouse is a casual, friendly environment where members participate in learning skills such as cooking, gardening, basic computing as well as maintenance and administration of the Clubhouse itself. There is support for those seeking employment from writing CVs to finding suitable positions and training courses. There are also regular social and recreational events.

Te Hau o Te Ora is a joint venture between WellSouth Primary Health Network, Hokonui Rūnanga and Awarua Whānau Services. We deliver primary care services similar to those delivered by general practice and mana whenua mandated Māori health providers.
Our services include General Practitioner via Telehealth and Virtual consultation, Nurse led services, Health Improvement Practitioner and a Health Coach. We work closely with our joint venture partners to ensure that our patients receive access to all support that we are able to collectively provide.

Te Hou Ora Whanau Services is a community-based whānau driven Kaupapa Māori service provider. Te Whare Pounamu Dunedin Women's Refuge provides programmes and support for wāhine - women, tamariki - children and rangatahi - youth who are experiencing domestic violence. We support a pathway to safety, regardless of ethnicity, gender identity or socio-economic circumstances. Our services range from programmes, group and individual support, advocating for women within the justice system, with police, protection orders, schools and other social and government agencies. Kaupapa driven Māori service for adults and children who are experiencing a significant mental health issue. Southern DHB Maori Mental Health & Addiction Services are delivered by two teams. Te Oranga Tonu Tanga operates out of Wakari Hospital and Te Korowai Hou Ora operates out of Southland Hospital.Te Oranga Tonu Tanga also provides a Needs Assessment and Service Coordination service.

The service provides assessment to identify the level of need for ongoing support in the home and community settings. Services are allocated based on this identified need. The service provides support for elderly people with an ongoing disability.
Aged care and needs assessment is a district-wide initiative provided by Dunedin, Southland and rural hospitals to older people who need assistance to live comfortably in their own home. Support services are arranged by Te Whatu Ora Southern Care Co-ordination Centre (CCC).
Your doctor, the hospital treating you or another health professional, will send a referral to the Clinical Coordinators at the CCC in Dunedin or you may refer yourself. Phone 0800 627 236 or email SouthernDHBCCC@southerndhb.govt.nz to get in touch with the CCC. Providing your referral meets the eligibility criteria for services, the CCC will forward your referral to the appropriate service in your area for assessment.
This will be either a Te Whatu Ora Southern Needs Assessor or a Home and Community Support Service (HCSS) provider (Access Homehealth, Healthcare NZ, Royal District Nursing Service NZ) who will contact you. The assessments are an opportunity to discuss with you and your family/ whanau the level of support needed and determine any urgent needs. The assessment may take up to two hours.
You are encouraged to have a family/whanau member present with you during the assessment so that your health, disability and other needs can be best understood by the assessor.
The Breast Room hosts a free drop-in clinic in Dunedin, and also provides home visits in the wider Dunedin City area. For the rest of New Zealand, you can access free online, zoom, text, email, social media support.

The Carroll Street Trust (TCST) is a Mental Health & Addictions service, providing 24 hour Residential Support as well as Community Support for people living with mental health issues.
TCST has several houses offering Housing and Recovery services with day time support and responsive night support.
Housing and Recovery Services
Access to this service should come through a Te Whatu Ora (DHB) clinical referral or via an approved Needs Assessment and Service Co-Ordination agency. If a GP would like to refer, they will need to be supported by a NASC agency.
Community Support
Community support is for people who require additional support to remain actively involved with family/whānau, community living, education, employment and self-management of their own wellbeing. The person is supported to determine their own needs and to retain or regain control of their own recovery process.

The Home of St Barnabas Trust is a provider of Services for the Elderly both residential and those living in our community isolated from social contact.
We deliver our meals hot on a plate ready to eat. Our meals are made fresh each day on site using local produce and suppliers where possible.
As a Foundation, our primary objective is to support our patients and their families in any way possible, including financial and emotional support and advocacy in the health systems, as well as holding events to bring families together, holiday homes when families need to get away, and research and medical specialist support. The Foundation offers a wide range of free services to patient members.
The Personal Advocacy and Safeguarding Adults Trust provides a range of safeguarding services and support for people with care and support needs. These services include Supported Decision Making support and training, short term advocacy and life long advocacy, discretionary trust administration and a coordinated inter-agency response for Adults at Risk. The Trust offers parents and other interested persons an opportunity to invest in peace of mind for the future through membership and enrollment. The Trust also extends support to people not enrolled in the Trust.

This service provides a safe environment for children/young people who have been exposed to issues around separation from significant people in their lives to reconnect with their family/whanau. Every effort is taken to enhance our commitment to the best interests of the children who have the need for Supervised Contact Services due to safety and well-being concerns. A Supervised Contact Visit refers to time shared between a child and a visiting parent which occurs in the presence of an independent third person. The service is delivered in a safe and controlled environment with constant supervision provided by trained supervisors.

Tokomairiro Waiora Inc.is a kaupapa Maori Health service providing Whanau Ora services to the South Otago rohe. The key objective of our service is to ensure existing health professionals and providers are co-ordinated and that Maori are assisted to better utilise the services that are available. Tokomairiro Waiora Incorporated services are available to all members of the community. Development of whanau health plans are for specific conditions and age groups and are targeted for improvement in the health for each whanau. We provide information and guidance to assist whanau toward a healthier lifestyle. We Provide a Break-Away Youth Holiday Programme and health education and information from a Māori perspective.
